Our Sports

Special Olympics competitions are structured so that athletes compete with other athletes of similar ability levels in equitable divisions. This practice marks one of the fundamental differences between Special Olympics competitions and those of most other sports organizations.

Divisioning will take place at Games for all sports.

Throughout the World Games, results can be found here or by navigating to the Schedule & Results page.

Official results for competitions will be available as soon as 45 minutes after an event concludes. This period of time is to accommodate an official protest period and ensure accurate standings are shared.
