The event will take place on 8 March at 18:00 in the breathtaking setting of Inalpi Arena in the heart of Turin, featuring a spectacular show that blends music, lights, and performances by internationally renowned artists. The official Olympic-styled ceremonial elements will be present, celebrating the values of inclusion, determination, and sportsmanship. The most eagerly awaited moment will undoubtedly be the Parade of Athletes as 102 delegations proudly marching in, ready to embrace an unforgettable experience of inclusion and competition.
The Special Olympics Flame of Hope™ will be lit during the Opening Ceremony in Inalpi as it is one of the most important symbols of the Games standing for peace, unity, and hope. The flame is traditionally lit in a colorful ceremony in Athens, Greece and transported to the host city by law enforcement officers from around the globe.
